"TVL" stands for Tanya Valerie Little, my maiden name. It's how I sign all of my work.
I can't recall a time when I didn't create or connect images with words. If I wasn't outdoors creating some adventure, I was indoors making something. So it's no surprise now that my paintings and photographs combine my love of color, nature and language.
I have a B.A. in Theater Arts and am also a Graduate Gemologist. I believe my work as a jewelry designer helped me segue into painting. I love the process and cherish the meditative solitude that painting provides.
My mission is to create a moment that touches you, something you can savor and enjoy every time you look at one of my pieces. Cheers!
